The new one-stop regional Business Link service, replacing five sub-regional Business Link organisations, starts operations from Monday 2nd April 2007.
Business Link Northwest is the new business support service for the region, designed to increase the number of businesses and individuals accessing business support across the Northwest.
The new high quality Business Link will provide Northwest businesses and individuals with a primary access point for business support, better integration of Business Link and Skills Brokerage services, and more resources for front-line delivery. Crucially, it will have improved alignment with the priorities set out in the Regional Economic Strategy to ensure a greater economic return.
Associates in Excellence CEO David Rowlands in welcoming the new structure says: "We are looking forward to working with Business Link North West. Our business is aligned with the Regional Economic Strategy, we feel the new organisation can only help to promote better opportunities for North West companies".

Associates in Excellence have been appointed Strategic Partners by North of England Excellence. The new larger organisation is an extension of the successful Excellence North West business model. Officially launched at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on 28 March 2007 the new company is a partnership between Excellence North West, Excellence Yorkshire and the North East Quality Group. Its launch is supported by the North West Development Agency, Yorkshire Forward, One North East, the CBI, the Institute of Directors, the North West Business Leadership Team and Culture North West.
